The Beaujolais Nouveau is on its way!
Be there to welcome it and celebrate the 60th anniversary of this French tradition at “The Venue” on the evening of Thursday, November 17th in a wonderful event organised by the French South African Chamber of Commerce and Industry!
This tradition, which officially dates back to 1951, sees cases of Beaujolais Nouveau being flown around the globe and opened always on the exact same day, the third Thursday of November.
It all started when producers of the Beaujolais region, north of Lyon, created a “wine of the year” simply to celebrate the end of the grape harvest. The wine was therefore fermented for only a few weeks and destined for immediate consumption.
For only 320 Rands (R 270 for FSACCI members), come experience the magic of this unique celebration where imported cheese, charcuterie and wine will be served for everyone and stand a chance to win two return tickets from Johannesburg to Paris on Air France and more amazing prizes.
Join the wine aficionados, French and South African alike, and feel the amazing and festive atmosphere created by an eclectic crowd.
This only happens once a year so don’t miss out on this exceptional occasion to have fun the French way and contact immediately the 011 442 2425 or send an email to firstname.lastname@example.org.
